I mean....
WHAT! WHERE AM I DRIVING??!! I was awe struck while driving to this new-to-me location. Around every corner it was like, HOLY COW, WHAT! Trees! River views! Mountains! It was so visually incredible that on the way back out from the session I literally stopped every 200 feet and snapped a pic.
Ok, now that we have that visual, let's back this up to the email exchanges I had prior to this session. This sweet family sought me out to have their family photos taken after an eight year hiatus because of how camera shy they were. But due to a promotional video I made for the gym I go to made her laugh {I was eating chips & queso and blabbing on how that was my motivation for going to the gym, haha}, she decided I was going to be the one who could ease their shyness to have their long-awaited family photos taken. TALK ABOUT PRESSURE! yikes. I was nervous. But once we got to this location and we met, all nervousness stepped aside and we did this thing.
We had so much fun and the views were incredible. I love being able to connect with my families in a way that leaves us feeling like we just started a beautiful new friendship. And, when all was said and done, they told they'd be back next year. I almost cried right there, it made me feel SO good.
This is why I love this so much, it's not just a job to me. It's my passion. My art. Ok, go look at these pretty images now.
